Yakutian Laika

The Yakutian Laika is a breed from Russia, specifically from the Sakha (Yakutia) region. It has a height ranging from 53-58 cm and weighs about 18-23 kg. Yakutian Laikas were traditionally used for sled pulling, hunting, and guarding purposes. They have a thick, double coat that provides insulation in cold climates. Yakutian Laikas are intelligent, energetic, and have a strong working drive. They require regular exercise and mental stimulation and are best suited for active owners. They can adapt to living both indoors and outdoors but need proper socialization and training. Yakutian Laikas are generally friendly and loyal to their families.
