Irish Water Spaniel

The Irish Water Spaniel is a medium to large-sized breed originating from Ireland. It stands around 53-61 cm (21-24 inches) tall at the shoulder and weighs between 22-31 kg (48-69 lbs). These dogs have a distinctive appearance with a curly, dense, and liver-colored coat. Irish Water Spaniels are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and excellent swimming abilities. They require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities for swimming. These dogs are generally good with children and can coexist with other pets when properly socialized. The curly coat requires regular grooming to prevent matting.
