Finnish Spitz

The Finnish Spitz, also known as the Suomenpystykorva, is a small to medium-sized breed originating from Finland. It stands between 40-50 cm tall and weighs around 12-15 kg. Finnish Spitzs were bred for hunting small game, particularly birds. They have a fox-like appearance with a dense, golden-red coat. Finnish Spitzs are known for their sharp, distinctive bark and their ability to "point" to the game with their nose. They make excellent watchdogs and family companions. Finnish Spitzs require regular exercise and mental stimulation. They can adapt to both indoor and outdoor living but thrive when given opportunities for outdoor activities.
