Shiba Inu

The Shiba Inu is a small and ancient breed from Japan. They were originally bred for hunting small game. Shiba Inus stand between 35-41 cm tall and weigh around 7-11 kg. They have a spirited and independent nature. Shiba Inus can adapt to both indoor and outdoor living, but they require regular exercise and mental stimulation. They are not typically recommended for first-time dog owners due to their strong-willed and stubborn personality. Shiba Inus are generally reserved with strangers but can be loyal and affectionate with their families. Socialization from a young age is important for their well-being.
