Grand Gascon-Saintongeois

The Grand Gascon-Saintongeois, also known as the Great Gascony Blue, is a large-sized breed originating from France. It stands around 65-72 cm (25-28 inches) tall at the shoulder and weighs between 36-42 kg (79-93 lbs). These dogs were bred for hunting large game, such as deer and boar. Grand Gascon-Saintongeois dogs have a strong prey drive and require regular exercise and mental stimulation. They are loyal and affectionate with their family but may be reserved with strangers. Due to their size and exercise needs, they are better suited for households with ample space and an active lifestyle.
