The Old Danish Pointing Dog, also known as the Gammel Dansk Hønsehund, is a breed from Denmark. It has a height ranging from 50-60 cm and weighs about 20-25 kg. Old Danish Pointing Dogs were historically used for hunting and pointing game, particularly birds. They are intelligent, active, and have a strong hunting instinct. These dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation and are best suited for active owners in rural or suburban environments. They can adapt to living both indoors and outdoors but need ample opportunities to exercise. Old Danish Pointing Dogs are generally friendly and get along well with children and other pets when properly socialized.
