Owczarek Podhalanski

The Owczarek Podhalanski, also known as the Polish Tatra Sheepdog, is a breed from Poland. It has a height ranging from 65-70 cm and weighs about 35-50 kg. Owczarek Podhalanski were traditionally used for guarding livestock, particularly sheep. They are intelligent, protective, and have a strong instinct to guard and protect their family and territory. These dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation and are best suited for experienced owners in rural or suburban environments. They can adapt to living both indoors and outdoors but need a large, securely fenced yard. Owczarek Podhalanski are generally reserved with strangers but loyal to their families. Proper socialization and training are important for a well-behaved Owczarek Podhalanski.
