Poitevin
The Poitevin, also known as the Chien de Haut-Poitou, is a large scent hound originating from France. It stands at an average height of 60-70 cm and weighs between 30-35 kg. This strong and determined dog is primarily used for hunting large game, such as deer and boar. The Poitevin is well-suited for outdoor living but can adapt to indoor living with regular exercise and mental stimulation. It has a friendly and sociable nature. Early training and socialization are important for a well-behaved Poitevin.
