Jindo
The Jindo is a medium-sized breed originating from South Korea. It stands around 50-55 cm (20-22 inches) tall at the shoulder and weighs between 16-23 kg (35-50 lbs). These dogs have a sturdy and muscular build. Jindos were historically used for hunting and guarding. They are known for their loyalty, independence, and strong prey drive. Jindos require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training. They are best suited for experienced dog owners who can provide them with proper socialization and leadership. Jindos can adapt to both indoor and outdoor living but need a secure yard. They are generally reserved with strangers and may not get along well with other animals.
