English Pointer

The English Pointer is a medium to large-sized breed originating from England. It stands between 61-69 cm tall and weighs around 20-30 kg. English Pointers were bred as hunting dogs, primarily for pointing and retrieving gamebirds. They have a lean and athletic build. English Pointers require regular exercise and mental stimulation. They are primarily outdoor dogs but can also adapt to living indoors with sufficient exercise. They have an affectionate and friendly nature, particularly with their family members. Early training and socialization are important for their well-rounded behavior.
