Kai Ken
The Kai Ken, also known as the Tora Inu or Tiger Dog, is a medium-sized breed originating from Japan. It stands around 48-56 cm (19-22 inches) tall at the shoulder and weighs between 14-18 kg (30-40 lbs). These dogs have a strong and agile build. Kai Kens were historically used for hunting large game. They are known for their loyalty, independence, and natural guarding instincts. Kai Kens require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training. They can adapt to both indoor and outdoor living but need proper socialization and supervision around other animals. They are generally reserved and aloof with strangers but form strong bonds with their families.
