Romanian Mioritic Shepherd

The Romanian Mioritic Shepherd, also called the Mioritic Sheepdog, is a large and robust breed originating from Romania. Similar to the Carpathian Shepherd, they were bred for guarding livestock, particularly sheep. These dogs have a height range of 65-75 cm and can weigh between 45-65 kg. Mioritic Shepherds are protective and devoted to their family and flock. They require regular exercise and consistent training to become well-rounded companions. They are best suited for experienced dog owners with ample space and a strong leadership presence.
