Finnish Lapphund
The Finnish Lapphund, also known as the Lapinkoira, is a medium-sized breed originating from Finland. It stands between 41-52 cm tall and weighs around 15-24 kg. Finnish Lapphunds were traditionally used as herding reindeer and guarding camps. They have a thick double coat and a friendly, alert expression. Finnish Lapphunds are versatile dogs and can be used for herding, obedience, and as family companions. They are adaptable and can live both indoors and outdoors. They are generally good with children and other pets when properly socialized. Finnish Lapphunds require regular exercise and mental stimulation to prevent behavioral issues.
