West Siberian Laika

The West Siberian Laika is a breed from Russia. It has a height ranging from 53-60 cm and weighs approximately 18-23 kg. West Siberian Laikas were originally bred for hunting purposes, including treeing and tracking game. They are intelligent, independent, and have a strong prey drive. These dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation and are best suited for experienced owners in rural or suburban environments. West Siberian Laikas can be friendly and loyal to their families but may be reserved or aloof with strangers. Proper socialization and training are important for a well-adjusted West Siberian Laika.
