Romanian Carpathian Shepherd

The Romanian Carpathian Shepherd, also known as the Carpathian Sheepdog, is a large and powerful breed hailing from Romania. They were primarily bred for guarding livestock in the Carpathian Mountains. These dogs can reach heights of 65-75 cm and weigh between 50-70 kg. They possess a protective nature and make excellent guard dogs. Carpathian Shepherds require a significant amount of exercise and mental stimulation. They are best suited for experienced dog owners who can provide proper training and socialization.
