Greyhound
The Greyhound is a medium to large-sized breed known for its incredible speed and graceful appearance. It is one of the oldest dog breeds, with origins dating back to ancient Egypt. Greyhounds have a slim and athletic build, standing around 68-76 cm (27-30 inches) tall at the shoulder and weighing between 27-40 kg (60-88 lbs). These dogs are gentle, affectionate, and have a calm temperament. Despite their racing history, Greyhounds are generally couch potatoes that enjoy relaxing and spending time with their families. They require regular exercise, but short bursts of intense activity followed by plenty of rest are sufficient. Greyhounds are typically good with children and can coexist with other dogs with proper socialization.
