Beauceron
The Beauceron is a large herding dog breed originating from France. They were traditionally used for herding livestock and guarding properties. Beaucerons are known for their versatility, as they excel in various roles such as herding, guarding, search and rescue, and even as family companions. They are intelligent, loyal, and protective dogs. Beaucerons have a strong and muscular build, standing 65-70 cm tall and weighing 30-45 kg. While they can adapt to indoor living, they require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy in a positive way. Beaucerons have a natural instinct to protect their family and can be reserved with strangers, making them excellent guard dogs. Proper socialization is essential to ensure they are well-mannered and friendly in different situations.
