Komondor
The Komondor is a large-sized breed originating from Hungary. It stands around 65-80 cm (26-31 inches) tall at the shoulder and weighs between 40-60 kg (88-132 lbs). These dogs have a unique and corded coat that resembles dreadlocks. Komondors were historically used for guarding livestock. They are known for their protective and fearless nature. Komondors require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training. They can adapt to both indoor and outdoor living but need a spacious and secure outdoor environment. They are generally reserved and cautious with strangers but form strong bonds with their families.
