Billy

The Billy is a medium to large-sized scent hound breed originating from France. It was primarily bred for hunting deer and wild boar. Billys have a sturdy and athletic build, standing 60-70 cm tall and weighing 25-30 kg. They have a short and dense coat that requires minimal grooming. Billys are outdoor dogs that thrive in a rural or active environment. They are known for their excellent scenting abilities and stamina. Billys are intelligent, independent, and driven. They require regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep them physically and mentally healthy. Proper training and socialization are important for Billys to develop into well-mannered and obedient dogs. Due to their hunting background, they may have a high prey drive and should be supervised around small animals. Billys can be friendly and affectionate with their families but may be reserved with strangers.
