Lhasa Apso
The Lhasa Apso is a small-sized breed originating from Tibet. It stands around 25-28 cm (10-11 inches) tall at the shoulder and weighs between 5.4-8.2 kg (12-18 lbs). These dogs have a sturdy and compact build. Lhasa Apsos were historically kept as guard dogs and companions. They are known for their loyalty, independence, and alertness. Lhasa Apsos require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training. They can adapt to both indoor and outdoor living but need proper socialization. They are generally good with older children and can be reserved with strangers.
