Tornjak

The Tornjak is a large breed native to Bosnia and Herzegovina. It can reach a height of about 58-70 cm and weighs between 35-45 kg. Tornjaks were traditionally used as livestock guardian dogs. They are known for their loyalty, courage, and strong protective instincts. These dogs are adaptable and can live both indoors and outdoors but require regular exercise and a secure, spacious environment. They are typically friendly with their family but may be reserved or suspicious of strangers.
