Kay is a beautiful 11-year-old mare from the well-known Sollenburg bloodline (Eyecatcher x Westenwind). She is the sweetest and easiest mare you could wish for – absolutely no typical mare behaviour. Besides her wonderful character, she is talented, always willing to work, and gives her very best every ride. I would confidently ride her through a busy city without worrying about her getting nervous. She is not spooky and behaves just as well in new environments as she does at home. Kay is suitable for both children and adults, as well as riders with ambitions in dressage or breeding. She has already produced a stunning colt, now 2 years old (see photo). As I no longer have enough time to ride because I spend most weekends travelling to competitions with my daughter, I have chosen a different direction together with a professional dressage rider. To achieve our goals, we have made the difficult decision to offer Kay for sale. Kay has successfully competed up to Z1 level with an amateur rider. She has also participated in many clinics and lessons, enjoys hacking out, and has even done some jumping. She is easy to handle in every way, is happily ridden in a snaffle bridle, has no stable vices or soundness issues, and has good X-rays. Kay is the perfect horse for an ambitious rider who wants to progress in dressage, but she is equally suitable for someone looking for a safe, reliable horse that is always the same every day and genuinely enjoys her work.
