Check out White Rock Saddles on our website or Facebook TLJ BLUEBERRY CAT — “Drifter” Some horses are nice to ride. Some horses are nice to be around. And every once in a while, one comes along that’s the whole package. Drifter is a 2018 AQHA deep, dark blue roan gelding standing a stout 15 hands tall and built as wide as he is solid. He has the kind of presence that turns heads, but the kind of personality that wins hearts. This gelding truly thinks he’s a puppy dog, always the first one to meet you at the gate, happy to follow you around, and genuinely enjoys being with his people. Professionally started and trained correctly, Drifter goes around the arena quiet, smooth, and beautifully. He carries a low, collected headset, has an impressive sliding stop, and a correct, balanced turnaround. He’s fancy enough to catch the eye, yet broke enough to make every ride enjoyable. He has a wonderful demeanor and is safe for all levels of riders. Outside the arena, Drifter is just as solid. He’s been hauled all over the country, from beaches and busy cities to mountains and rivers. Bridges, water crossings, traffic, and new environments don’t phase him in the slightest. He steps out confidently and willingly, always taking care of his rider. He’s also been used around cattle and has moved pairs on the ranch, showing his versatility and willingness to work. Whether you’re dreaming of a future performance partner or looking for a quiet, laid-back gelding to enjoy at home, Drifter fits both worlds effortlessly. At the perfect age with the ideal build, mind, and training, Drifter is the kind of horse that’s hard to replace once he’s gone. If you’re looking for one that you can trust, enjoy, and be proud to swing a leg over this is your guy. He is located in Bitterwater, CA. For more information or to schedule a time to come see him for yourself please contact Cheyenne Rey at 831-537-8746.
